Hello, I’m Sage

I grew up on Martha’s Vineyard a small island off the coast of Massachusetts. Even as a young girl I was drawn to nature and art and would spend entire days out in the woods with my siblings designing fairy gardens or making our own botanical stores of special rocks, beautiful leaves, uniques sticks and twigs all displayed on patches of moss. This passion for color and design lead me to eventually pursue degree in photography and graphic design in Upstate New York. During my summers home from college I started working on an island farm out in the flower fields where I would spend my mornings helping harvest and design 100s of hand-tie bouquets to sell at the local farm stand. This newly discovered passion for flowers lead me west to Portland Oregon where I attended the Floral design Institute, and officially fell in love with flowers and Portland.

I have spent the last 20 years playing with flowers in the PNW, and have spent 18 of those years running one of Portlands top flower shops. I am incredibly grateful for my time there, the relationships I formed with wholesalers and farmers, and other designers, and all I learned from running such a fast paced and fun shop.

I have always dreamed of one day opening my own flower shop, a place where I could truly blossom and share all I have learned. A place where I could share my passion for flowers, and love for connecting with people and getting them as excited about floristry as I am. A place I could share with and pass on to my two boys. Thanks for being here and supporting me on this journey.

xoxo
